How It Works
The Reviewers Choice Award is built on transparency, data, and zero favoritism.
We Analyze Google Reviews
We pull every Google Review for a business and run it through our six-pillar analysis engine. We look at star ratings, review volume, how recent the reviews are, what customers are actually saying (sentiment), whether reviews appear authentic, and how responsive the business is to feedback.
Six Pillars, All Must Pass
There are no tiers, no "almost there" awards. A business must meet the minimum threshold on every single pillar to earn the Reviewers Choice Award:
Earn the Award
Businesses that pass all six pillars receive the Reviewers Choice Award for the current year. They get a digital badge for their website, a printable certificate, and a verified listing in our consumer directory. Every award includes a verification link so anyone can confirm it's real.
Annual Renewal
Awards are valid for one year. Each year, businesses are re-evaluated against current data. This ensures the award always reflects present-day quality — not past performance. A business must continue to earn it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a business pay to get the award?
No. The Reviewers Choice Award is earned, never purchased. Our scoring is based entirely on public Google Reviews data. There is no way to buy a passing score.
What if a business disagrees with their score?
We welcome feedback. If a business believes their data has been analyzed incorrectly, they can contact us for a review. However, the scoring methodology and thresholds are applied equally to all businesses.
How often are businesses re-evaluated?
All awards are renewed annually. We re-score every business each year to ensure the award reflects current quality levels.
Can an award be revoked?
Yes. If we discover that a business has engaged in review manipulation or fraud, the award can be revoked at any time.
